Curera Support Wedge can be used to place a patient/user in side position in order to relieve sacrum, which is an extra sensitive area. For the side position, two support wedges are used together.

The support wedge is easy to use and clean. It is delivered with a liquid resistant cover that can be wiped off with an cleaning agent and/or disinfectants. It can also be machine washed.

Examples of different uses:

• When the user has problems to lie completely on the side.
• For relief in prevention of pressure ulcers.
• When the user has problems with position changes.
• As kick protection against bed rails.
• For other positioning.
