As our population continues to age and healthcare resources diminish, the healthcare sector confronts multiple challenges. Ensuring optimal patient care demands attention not only to medical conditions but also to factors influencing well-being and quality of life.

The CuroCell A4 has been designed to enable professionals to prioritise patient-centred care.

Through leveraging cutting-edge AI and high-precision sensors, this innovative system continuously monitors crucial metrics such as weight, height, and position, allowing for personalised adjustments tailored to each individual's needs.

Features

  • The Pulsating Mode is engineered to enhance comfort and stability by minimising mattress movements and fluctuations. The silent operation of the control unit fosters uninterrupted sleep and recuperation. The Pulsating Mode has shown effectiveness as a treatment for pressure ulcers/injuries. It can significantly reduce healing time for pressure ulcers, with patients experiencing recovery within 30 days compared to the anticipated 155 days.
  • Gentle Alternating Low Pressure (GALP) leverages the advantages of the pulsating technique, thereby providing both prevention of pressure ulcers/injuries and enhanced comfort.
  • Constant Low Pressure (CLP) is when pressure is evenly distributed across the entire support surface. Here, the cells remain consistently filled with an equal amount of air, without alternating.
  • Maximum pressure (Caring mode) is designed to ensure stability during ingress, egress, and patient care, reverting to previous settings after 20 minutes.
  • Pack & Go allows you to press a button that will deflate the support surface in approximately 20 minutes.
  • Comfort settings allow for the adjustment of air pressure in two stages based on the patient's comfort preferences.

Benefits

  • Undisturbed sleep and reduced pain
  • Sleep and a calm environment are key components for recovery and well-being, and it is during sleep that the cells in the body are built up, promoting wound healing.
  • Prevention and management of pressure ulcers/injuries
  • Through the pulsating mode ulcers/injuries are treated directly.
  • Streamlined operations and heightened patient safety
  • Both the control unit and support surface hold individual CE marks. This ensures that if the control unit requires replacement, it can be done without necessitating a full system overhaul, thereby reducing workload and bolstering patient safety.
