Fero Metal Relax Chair - Anthracite Grey

The Fero relax chair with lowerable armrests is made of a metal support and an upholstered backrest, seat and legrest. The chair is equipped with a recliner mechanism that was especially developed for the health care sector. The patent recliner mechanism makes it possible to tilt the backrest, seat and legrest simultaneously, so that the patient can lie in a zero gravity position. The recliner mechanism can be locked in each position by means of a lever that can be activated on both sides of the chair. The chair is attached to four design castors Ø 125 mm and has a standard extending footrest.

Pressure Care

The synchronised adjustment of the seat, backrest and legrest prevents “sliding” forward, and avoids unwanted pressure on the coccyx. The variation in density of the seat and backrest foam provides pressure distribution and also helps minimise the above-mentioned sliding movement.

The perfect inclination of the seat in the “Zero-Gravity” position* gives optimum support to the body and results in a marked decline in pressure-related injuries.
