Evacuation Pod Standard
Overview
- An essential part of any emergency evacuation procedure
- Designed in conjunction with Australian Physiotherapists, ergonomists and the Fire Services Safety training
- Australian standard tested
- Evacuate the dependant client away from the area of risk easily and comfortably
- Client is securely encased in pod which has padded base and head support
- Underside of pod has very low friction surface which enables client to be easily evacuated over any floor surface and down stairs
- Carers manoeuvre pod by using the long adjustable straps either end
- When not in use, pod rolls up to the size of a sleeping bag for easy storage
